My special day...

...august 24th...my birthday
the day started with a walk to the pier...i heart the ocean..
three friends drove to san juan capistrano to visit the beautiful mission grounds...where have all the swallows gone..
...we had a bite to eat...the waitress had me all excited about fresh raspberry cheesecake as a birthday treat...but alas she never came back....we left...no birthday cheesecake for me...curse her for tempting me..
we drove to redondo to pick up a visitor from australia...the night was just getting started...we picked up some more peeps....good times...good friends..
the night ended with pirates...dancing...singing...a vast ye mateys..
