The drive down to the fabled "river" took four hours. We left at 8:00ish...as we drove closer to wide open spaces...the stars came out, they were so visible, it was an awesome sight. I kept thinking I was in one of those car ads, you know the type...riding in a sweet car...nightime...stars shining brightly...slience..then you hear an acoustic guitar playing in the background...a voice singing..about traveling to far off destinations or trying to find yourself. We arrived at the house around midnight. It was so quiet and peaceful.
"the river" was good times. We had about 25 peeps show up and had some serious bonding time. Four boats...music..food..games...conversation..super weather...it was a great weekend.
