
My brother-in-law taught me to make bol renverse (upsidedown bowl). I don't know if it's a purely Mauritian dish, or a combination of his ancestory of English, French, African and Indian culture. All I know is that it taste suprisingly good!
Liz cooked up the veggies and I put curry in the chicken. Liz microwaved the curry lime rice and I fried the eggs. I placed an egg in the bottom of a margarita glass and layered the veggies, chicken and packed rice into the cup. When you put a plate on top and turn it over again you get bol renverse! It's so yummy and pretty! A Thursday with leftovers is never boring in my kitchen! Today I need to learn to cook a treat with organic homemade chocolate shipped to me from Hawaii.
