I absolutely love Death Cab for Cutie. When I was invited to attend their Hollywood Bowl concert, at which they would play with the LA Philharmonic, I jumped in the air and clapped my hands as I screamed out "YES". Their song, Marching Bands of Manhattan, has been my ring tone for 5 entire years. Phones have come and gone, but the ringtone is epic and stationary in my life.
During the concert I was obsessed with recording videos on my camera and sound on my phone so that I could relive the concert again and again. The Philharmonic was a melodic addition to their music and I expect that they recorded the concert and will sell the compilation as an album.
The fireworks during the last song was pretty amazing too.
