What to do on New Year's Eve in Utah?? I was able to hang out with some peeps. As we were headed out the door Kim said "I really hate when I have to dry my jeans on high, then I have to stretch them out!" So she did some deep leg lunges and we were ready to roll..We stopped at a 'party" so Julie could check out the scene. As I was sitting on the couch looking at the family photos on the wall I looked at the pic of the oldest boy, I sat thinking to myself this guy looks familiar..Then it dawned on me, I went on a date with him, about ten years ago! Yeah and lo and behold he was there, with his wife and child..I don't think he remembered me, but I didn't stick around long enough to chat with him.
We headed to SLC to check out a friend and his band playing at a nice little club, but alas we arrived too late and they were done playing. So we went to "the manor" and counted down the minutes till midnight. We popped off the tops to our sparkling bottled drinks and welcomed in the new year.
Good times indeed..
