EARTHQUAKE!
I knew I felt the earth shake last night. Liz was in the shower so she didn’t feel it. But I made sure I told her I thought there was an earthquake…so that when I read an article about the quake I would be right and I could prove I felt it at the time, not just pretend to have felt it after reading the article.
This quake was nothing more than a small shake; the kind you feel if you are in an apartment next to an elevated subway and everything rattles as the train passes. I’ve been in large quakes where things fell down on me. I’ve been in small quakes where I could prove there was a small earthquake by looking at the water in the toilet swash back and forth. Some day there will be the BIG one!
Here is the article about yesterday’s quake:

wow, that's an...impressive article. ;)
About 4 weeks ago we had an earthquake here. I was standing in the kitchen cooking breakfast and never even felt it! bummer, my first earthquake even. My cousin who was still in bed felt it and hurried into the kitchen. The only evidence she had was the swinging chandelier over the kitchen table and the news confirming it later that day.
(all that to say, I can almost relate.) :D
