I flew into Brisbane on a lovely Tuesday morning. Chris was kind enough to pick me up from the airport. He also brought along his mom and dad. They were staying with him for a few days helping him renovate a house he is trying to rent. So my first stop in Brisbane was the IKEA! Chris needed fixtures and what not. So we headed over to the house and my first job was to scrub pool grout, then re-screen some windows, good times!
Chris made an excellent seafood meal for dinner and I finally had time to hop in the shower and felt somewhat refreshed...
The next day Chris decided to take me to the Ekka, which is a huge carnival type fair that takes place every year in Brisbane.. They have rides, food, livestock, poultry and even a fashion show..
