This afternoon I found myself in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I went for my relaxing walk to the pier in Seal Beach and found movie tents, trailers, security guards, props and extras on the beach and pier. I have no connection to Pop Culture so I don't even know what the show "Greek" is, but they were filming it in Seal Beach and pretending to be in Myrtle Beach. I wish they had been filming a show I know like: Monarch of the Glen (filmed in Scotland from 1999-2005) or Arrested Development (unjustly pulled off the air in 2005) or The Office (that would be cool!). I was in a made for TV movie once. I enjoyed the day off of school (I was in 4th grade) and the $50 I made for walking down my hometown sidewalk as an extra. After that big top movie experience I did not pursue a career in the film industry. I did however enjoy pretending to be in Myrtle Beach today, even though it was a normal Tuesday in normal Seal Beach.
