There is significance in the 100th post on apt#6.
First, it's 100!  That's one hundred stories shared from 2 different people's lives!  That is remarkable!
Second, today is monumental because it is 100 divide by 10 equals 10 and that is how many years (to the day) it has been since my staking accident.  I refer to today as my second birthday, because it is the day in which I was "brought back" after hurting my head and body while skateboarding.  After being unresponsive for 6 hours I "came back" after a priesthood blessing in the hospital.  They say I opened my eyes after amen, but I only remember not having hardly any pain during my weeks of recovery.  I am grateful for that second chance at life and try to focus on what the Lord would have me do with this extra time.
Also today Liz sang a song to me in honor of my second birthday.  We were at Chili's (a restaurant I don't frequent often) and she sang me a song while we waited for the check (which she graciously paid for as a second birthday present).  The song lyrics were "and if I die before I wake, at least in heaven I can skate".   Those lyrics made me laugh!
My classroom was at least 100 degrees today.  Seriously, it was crazy hot today!
Today is also crazy because I have about 100 things to do this weekend.  I'm making a list of the chores and putting them on sticky notes on my bedroom door.  After I finish each one I can take the note off the door and watch myself progress towards personal life success.  Some of the chores include: clean bathroom, 3 dozen eggs for creme brulee, lesson on gifts of the spirit for relief society, bake spaghetti squash, laundry...etc...
I am happy to have a second birthday.  The celebration makes May 16th special in my life because I truly feel as if the Lord spared me to continue living.  I feel a responsibility to constantly be worthy of the blessing....

Yay! Happy second birthday! You shine so much light in the lives of other people. I'm sure that there have been so many people who have benfitted from your efforts in this life. (And I have to say that I am jealous that you were at Chili's. That used to be one of my all-time favorite restuarants.)
