hawaii photos-Jamie

Sonia, Alice and I were Linoleum Housemates for 3 years, and neighbors in the Dog House for a year.  There is no length of time that can weaken the bonds of girls who lived together for so long.  Especially, when we lived away from our families on a small island, we became family.  Alice was the fairy godmother who would leave food in my cupboard so I wouldn't be malnourished.  I've always loved her for that.

A multigenerational FoodFest at BYUH.  The night was a fun remembrance of culture clubs and Fijian Roti.  It was also a night to see the growth of our lives and families.  I love Carol, Harmony, Ezra, Layce, Sonia and Ethan!

I like this shot of me at Sunset Beach.  I was getting my hair wet before sliding onto the board to paddle in the mellow waters of the North Shore.

Kahana Valley.  This picture needs an explanation.  See the log on the right side?  There was tar, hot, melted tar on the log.  I sat on the log to take pictures of the Smiths and the tall palm trees, when the tar melted onto my shorts.  I thought the best solution would be to rub the tar off on the grass, so I scooted back and forth.  The tar did not come off, but Sonia laughed and laughed at me as I wiped my bum on the grass.

Mothers Day at Malekahana.  Pam and Colleen were my college mothers.  There is no way to measure their effect on my life.  I want to emulate them.

Haim, Truman, Ethan, Ethan, Spencer, Sonia, Greg, Carol, Ezra, Harmony, Colleen, Layce, Isaiah, Austin, Paul.

The Sieverts are a cute family.  Greg laid in the shade with Ezra as Harmony and I went snorkeling at Sharks Cove.  Such a pliable family.
Austin and Ethan have grown into men.  Austin is home from college for the summer, to help their dad remodel their downstairs into a rental unit.  Ethan also talked of spear fishing for their dinner that night, as well as designing his Eagle Scout project in the Ko'olaus behind his house.  Ethan is growing his hair out for his National History Day competition in Washington, D.C. this summer.  He is going to play Thomas Jefferson.

I gave Truman my camera, and ended up with tons of pictures of cantaloupe and eyebrows.  I like the style of the Springs home.  The green is inviting and complementary of the fauna found outside.

Sonia has the pictures of our Triathlon.  I'll post those when I get them.

Awesome! It looks like you had a great time all together. I can't believe how old Austin and Ethan are. Amazing how fast time flies.
