Yep, it's that time of year again when I go on the hunt for a hamburger. Jamie and I were walking to the pier the other night, and I told her that I was craving a really tasty burger and it had been a year since I went on my quest over Memorial Day weekend. When I started craving a hamburger I kept wondering why, could it be when I was growing up every year my family would get together for a BBQ and grill up some burgers and have homemade potato salad, watermelon, chips and dip or does my body just crave a burger now and again.
I am hoping for the first impulse, then I could rightfully instill this in future generations..I wonder if my brothers and sister have the same feelings about burgers on Memorial Day.
Also I was talking to my mom the other day and her and my dad were going to make the annual trip to the cemeteries to place flowers of the graves of those who have passed on. I will miss that as well, she is planning on taking two of my niece so I am hoping that tradition will continue as well...
Applebee's has brand new burgers, yeah I even checked them out on their website, will they satisfy my hunger? Perhaps....
