christmas dinner

These are a few quotes that have been shared while on my vaca with my extended family.
On Christmas day in Redondo Beach…Justin(brother), Ingrid(Knighten cousin), Zach(her son) and Lynn(my namesake Aunt) had a rousing conversation about Phebes and Phobos. They were sure one or the other was about fear and the other about the goddess who followed the sun. I was in and out of listening because I was busy playing with all of Luc’s new toys. During this time Justin was unsuccessful trying find a bottle opener to open the Martinelli’s, so he employed his National Guard moves and tried to open it with his ear and then his eye. He was successful at lighting the candles for Kary’s (his wife) birthday cheesecake!
Later the conversation moved to recent movies (I was trying to get people to go see Juno with me-I did get Jodean(Nichols cousin) to go, but by the time we got there it was already sold out) and Lynn (my liberal artist Aunt) said she saw Sweeny Todd and Enchanted. “I went to Enchanted to get over Sweeny Todd. And I would have gone to Sweeny Todd to get over Enchanted! I liked them both, but the bad guy was the same actor in both movies. So I couldn’t really get over either of them.”
